This is a long necklace made with artificial pearls that have a shine comparable to real Akoya pearls. It was planned, designed, made and inspected in Japan, and the pearls are molded, colored and finished by Japanese craftsmen. The pearls are molded with a light core to reduce the weight felt when wearing the necklace for a long time. The clasp is a leaf spring type made of rhodium plated brass, and the length cannot be adjusted. It can be worn for weddings, after-parties, entrance and graduation ceremonies, parties and casual use. The threads are tightened during manufacturing, so the pearls may not line up neatly at first, but they settle after a few wears. Pearl sizes differ slightly from bead to bead. Stains can be wiped off with a soft cloth.
