We got the Ice Palace for our little one (6 years) for Christmas, she was very happy. The building blocks were neatly packed with the instructions only in bubble wrap and cling film, unfortunately no cardboard. First the positive ;) No parts were missing, the clamping force and color fidelity is very good. The palace looks very good and the appropriate interior has also been thought of. The fun is due to the great game depth and the autom. Doors with attached drawbridge given. Now the "negative", for us not quite as bad but annoying. The instructions and the bags are divided into individual construction steps. But the building blocks are scattered wildly through all the bags so that you have to empty all the bags straight away, which means that the little one was overwhelmed :( The light brick works and flashes different colors. It has a small screw so you can open it and change the batteries. It is switched via a cross axis (a rotation) to which a chandelier is attached (still missing on the boilers because the glue is not dry). First of all, the switch was stuck in the light brick, i.e. it was screwed on and the guide was reworked with fine emery paper. Secondly, the mount for the cross axis is too large so that no clamping forces act and the chandelier falls down immediately. I have now attached the axle to the light brick with glue. Anna cannot ride the sled as shown in the pictures. Elsa and Anna's dresses have a small slit at the back. This would also work for sitting with a "panel 1x2 with middle divider", two or more "panels 1x1" are installed so that the middle divider is twice as thick and the dress rests on it.
