TEAM G-SHOCK professional surfer Betty Lou Sakura Johnson hails from Oahu, Hawaii, so we're introducing a new G-LIDE color model inspired by Hawaiian flowers. Available in two vibrant colors that stand out in the summer sun: a deep blue reminiscent of the blue jade vine often used in Hawaiian quilts, and a captivating pink inspired by the Kanhizakura cherry blossoms that bloom in Hawaii. It adds a touch of glamour to the surf scene. A metal dial (BS dial) is used around the edge of the LCD. While the overall design is one color, the use of shading and metallic textures creates a simple yet distinctive model. Functionally, it also comes equipped with a tide graph and moon data, essential features for surfers, to support riding in oceans around the world. Biomass plastic is used for the main resin parts of the bezel and band. Using renewable organic resources as raw materials is expected to contribute to reducing environmental impact. The natural, clean, and ethical image that is strongly associated with the surf scene has been embodied in the design and colors that are characteristic of G-SHOCK.
