KATO N Gauge 227 Series 500 Urara 2-Car Set, Model Train, 10-1908

This two-car set features the R12 trainset manufactured by Kawasaki Rolling Stock and belonging to the Okayama Electric Railway Branch of the Shimonoseki General Rolling Stock Center. The pink exterior and gradient stripes are beautifully reproduced. The roof of the lead car, which lacks signal flares, is reproduced. The lightning arrester is a design seen in recent years. It also features an electric compressor with a different shape than the previous 227 series. This model does not feature a platform status camera. The anti-fall guardrail is reproduced as a separate part. Two types are available: one for the lead car that prioritizes appearance, and one for when coupled. The slotless motor ensures smoother and quieter running. The three-car set comes with traction tires, while the two-car set does not. The two-car set comes with demagnetizing plates. Head and tail lights light up (with a switch to turn them off). The headlights are reproduced with white LEDs, and the fog lights are orange. All couplings use body-mounted close-coupling systems (without hooks). Includes a two-stage electric coupler that can be attached to the coupler at the front of the lead car. Front destination display installed. Two pre-printed options and a plain option are included for replacement.
