Product Introduction
This is a plastic model kit of the Pit-Road "1/700 Skywave Series Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force Aegis Destroyer DDG-174 Kirishima with New Equipment".
DDG-174 "Kirishima" was commissioned in 1995 as the second ship of the Kongo-class, the first Aegis destroyer in the JMSDF, and became a BMD (Ballistic Missile Defense) capable ship in 2010.
Currently, it belongs to the 6th Escort Division of the 2nd Escort Flotilla, based in Yokosuka.
*Includes the new equipment set "NE10: 1/700 JMSDF Ship Equipment Set 1," allowing for a more precise reproduction by replacing parts such as armament and various antennas.
