-----

Sprinkle this fig and cassis bath dust into warm water and the bath becomes slower, softer, more scented. It is a powdered bath soak, made for turning an ordinary evening wash into a small ritual, with mellow fig wrapped in the tangy fruitiness of blackcurrant.

What the bath becomes

The dry powder dissolves into warm water, so there is no waiting for a bath bomb to finish fizzing.

Fig gives the scent a ripe, rounded sweetness, gentle rather than sugary.

Cassis brings a brighter blackcurrant edge, adding freshness to the fruit notes.

The soak leaves the skin feeling soft, smooth and lightly fragranced.

Use a little for a quiet scent, or a fuller sprinkle when you want the fragrance to feel more present.

Fig, cassis and warm water

This bath dust is about fragrance and feel rather than spectacle. The powder slips into the water and carries a sweet, fruity scent through the steam, giving the bath a more considered mood without needing oils, salts or a separate bath bomb.

How to use it

Sprinkle into a warm bath to taste, then swirl the water by hand to help it dissolve. Step in once the powder has dispersed, and rinse the bath after use to keep the surface clean.

The ritual of scented bathing

Scented water has long been part of bathing traditions, from floral infusions to perfumed oils and powdered additions. A bath dust keeps that idea simple: concentrated fragrance, warm water, and a few quiet minutes away from the day. Fig and cassis sit in a modern fruit-led style, less herbal than many traditional soaks and softer than citrus, with enough brightness to keep the sweetness clear.
