Thick, golden and unmistakably wheat-like in scent, this wheat germ carrier oil is made for slow, careful blending rather than a quick all-over massage. A few drops bring richness to lighter oils, turning a simple body oil or skincare ritual into something more substantial and enveloping.
Golden colour, rich grain scent
The oil ranges from golden yellow to orange, with a warm depth that feels suited to slower evening care.
Its aroma is intensive and wheat-like, so it is best chosen when you enjoy a natural, grainy scent in a blend.
The texture is very rich, giving body to lighter carrier oils rather than disappearing quickly on the skin.
It suits small-batch blending, especially when you want to add weight and softness to a massage or body oil mix.
The amber bottle helps the oil feel at home on a bathroom shelf, beside balms, salts and other quiet care essentials.
Cold-pressed from wheat germ
This base oil is cold-pressed from the kernel of the wheat grain, from the botanical species Triticum vulgare. It is sourced from the USA, with wheat germ chosen for its naturally rich, full-bodied character and recognisable colour.
How to blend it
Use it sparingly with lighter carrier oils rather than as the main oil for massage. Its rich texture makes it more suited to blending, adding depth to a body oil, facial oil or small skincare mix.
Because the scent is distinctive, pair it with oils and aromatic blends that sit comfortably with warm, earthy notes. Store the bottle closed, away from heat and bright light, and use within its stated shelf life.

In carrier oil form, the focus shifts from grain as food to the small, nutrient-rich germ at the heart of the kernel. Wheat germ oil is often used by home blenders as a deeply textured addition to lighter oils, especially when a richer…
