Deep golden and quietly earthy, this organic rosehip base oil brings a light, dry touch to simple skincare and essential oil blending. It sinks into the ritual without feeling heavy, leaving the focus on slow hands, soft light and a few unhurried minutes at the mirror.
Golden, dry and softly earthy
The colour is a rich golden tone, warm enough to make a blend feel considered before it touches the skin.
Its aroma is subtle and earthy, so it sits gently beneath essential oils rather than taking over.
The texture is thin and dry, suited to people who prefer a lighter-feeling oil.
Use it on its own as a moisturising oil, or as a base for aromatherapy blends.
It suits small, quiet rituals: a few drops warmed between the palms, then pressed or smoothed over the skin.
Cold-pressed rosehip from Chile
This is organic rosehip oil, botanically known as Rosa Mosqueta, sourced from Chile and extracted by cold pressing. Cold pressing is a low-intervention method used for many plant oils, valued because it avoids the heavier feel of highly processed cosmetic bases.
Blending and everyday use
Apply a small amount directly to clean skin, or use it as a carrier oil when blending with essential oils. Start lightly, then add more only if your skin wants it.
For aromatherapy blending, mix in a clean bowl or bottle and label your blend clearly. Keep the bottle closed between uses and store it away from heat and bright light.
Why choose this oil
Rosehip has a naturally dry, fine texture, which makes it different from heavier body oils. It is a good choice when you want a base oil that feels more refined on the skin, with a muted botanical scent and a warm golden colour.
