Exactly as pictured. Seems ok in terms of processing... one or the other thread just sticks out or hangs around loosely... but no problem with the scissors... I'm curious how long it will last in school use... but the main thing is that the child is happy... :) I will report back in a week... Update: After two weeks of use by a third grader, the first weak points are noticeable. 1. The straps got a turn-up seam from me so that they don't constantly slip out of the holder. 2. Pikatchu's chic "tail" fell off after opening it twice because the seam opened. But got my sewing machine back together. 3. Unfortunately, the shoulder straps are slowly detaching from the backpack. It might have done the trick once. But OK. For the price I don't want to make too many claims. And last but not least 4. The backpack rubs off. Our older one wore a white shirt and now it has nice yellow stripes from the shoulder blades over the shoulders down to the chest, which unfortunately are difficult to wash out... (I have to say that my partner is a trained textile cleaner with many years of professional experience) So conclusion from my side: If you are skilled with your hands and with a sewing machine, you can make the backpack suitable for schools with a few modifications. Otherwise, either only use it for leisure time if you don't have much in your backpack or for decorative purposes. I will try to save him to make the child happy. ;)

The only drawback for me is that I wanted to match it with my dark brown Cow leather wallet but the colour is not as dark as shown in the retailer's photos...
