The moisturizing liquid contained in the flowers has oil-soluble properties, so contact with oily materials can cause the flowers to stick or stain. Avoid direct contact with oily paints or varnishes on furniture, or lacquer on Buddhist altars. *Because it is flammable, keep it away from open flames such as fireplaces and near candles or incense on Buddhist altars.
