The project was planned by Mars Planning Co., Ltd., which operates the resort hotel Mars Garden Wood Gotemba, and produced by Tajima Glass Co., Ltd., a manufacturer of traditional Japanese Edo glass.
This beer glass, which features a picture of the World Heritage site Mount Fuji when beer is poured into it, embodies Japanese hospitality.
[Commemorating the World Cultural Heritage Site Registration] This glass features a tasteful indentation of the "Hoei Crater" and a cut glass design of "Mount Fuji and cherry blossoms." The "Hoei Crater" indentation is designed to make the glass easy to hold, with the thumb fitting perfectly inside. The "Mount Fuji and cherry blossoms" cut glass provides a non-slip grip when holding the glass.
These are a pair of glasses in clear and cherry blossom pink.

A glass featuring a deeply textured "Hoei Crater" indentation and "Fuji Sakura" cut glass. It brings to life the iconic Japanese mountain, Mount Fuji. Mount Hoei was born from a massive eruption in 1707 (Hoei 4) during the mid-Jodo period. The large crater—the Hoei Crater—is modeled after it, and the indentation is designed to perfectly fit the thumb, making it easy to hold the glass. Fuji Sakura (also known as Mame Sakura) is a variety that grows wild on and around Mount Fuji, with five petals in a single layer. The Fuji Sakura, a symbol of Japan just like Mount Fuji, has been carefully cut one petal at a time. The cut glass also provides a non-slip grip when holding the glass. Tajima Glass Co., Ltd. was founded in 1956 (Showa 31) by Matsutaro Tajima in Koto-ku, Tokyo, as a glass tableware manufacturing factory. Established in 1962 (Showa 37) in Matsue, Edogawa Ward, this Edo Kiriko glass manufacturer has been carefully crafting glass products that are in line with the times for half a century, starting with the production of commercial tumblers and wine glasses, with each piece handcrafted by skilled artisans. Based on the product development capabilities and technical skills cultivated over many years, they are passing on the charm and culture of Japanese handmade glass to future generations.
We contribute to various aspects of manufacturing, including the supply of glass materials, and we also received the 3rd Tokyo Challenge Award. Please enjoy the skills that only a manufacturer with a deep understanding of glass materials can offer.
