Looking back 20 years since the first flight of the US-2, Japan's proud high-performance aircraft

The US-2, Japan's world-renowned high-performance flying boat.

To commemorate the 20th anniversary of the first flight of the prototype US-1A Kai, Aoshima's 1/144 aircraft series will release a limited edition US-2 with luxurious bonus items.

The bonus items include a 9cm x 9cm patch with the "20th Anniversary Logo (in cooperation with ShinMaywa Industries)" manufactured by "navy gear 4U," which has a track record of supplying the US military and the Japan Air Self-Defense Force.

Furthermore, the kit allows you to choose to build one of three types: "US-2," "US-1A Kai Prototype No. 1," or "US-1A Kai Prototype No. 2."

This kit commemorates the 20th anniversary of the US-2, which has protected the safety of Japan's seas and airspace, and ShinMaywa Industries.
