Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
1. **Can I power this board from a computer USB port?**
Yes, it supports USB power supply. Note that some computers may produce slight noise due to power interference. For best sound quality, we recommend using an independent stable 5V power supply.
2. **What kind of speakers work best with this amplifier?**
It can directly drive 4Ω or 8Ω small speakers. For optimal performance, we recommend using speakers with power rating between 3W-10W.
3. **Why is there noise coming from the speaker after power on?**
- If you hear whistling noise: Use shielded audio input cables and ensure the audio input is properly connected to a sound source (do not leave it hanging)
- If you hear humming noise: This is usually caused by poor quality or noisy switching power supplies. Try using a different stable 5V power supply.
⚠️ CRITICAL USAGE WARNINGS
1. **NEVER** connect the negative terminals of left and right channels together, this will permanently burn the amplifier IC
2. **Always connect speakers (load) first before powering on** the amplifier board
3. Do not exceed 5.5V input voltage to avoid damaging the module
