The vampire known as "Kageyashi," previously only whispered about in urban legends, now exists in modern-day Akihabara, invading the city.
The protagonist is suddenly attacked by a Kageyashi in Akihabara at night and left near death, but is saved by a young Kageyashi girl.
This incident triggers the protagonist's involvement in a conflict between Kageyashi and humans, forcing them into a life-or-death battle.
