Material: Bamboo (wrapped in rattan). Due to the natural material, there may be stains or blemishes on the wood grain. There may also be small cracks.
This is a classical-tuned shinobue (transverse flute) that is perfect for traditional Japanese music such as Hayashi and Kagura.
Because it is tuned to a classical tuning, the pitch is not perfectly accurate. There may also be slight variations in pitch between individual instruments. The pitch may differ from other manufacturers' shinobue flutes of the same tuning. If you intend to play with shamisen or Western instruments, please purchase our shinobue flutes tuned to a vocal tuning.
Please do not subject it to impact. Be careful not to drop or bump it, as it may break.
Regarding storage
- It will crack when it dries out. Bamboo is a natural material, so it will crack when it dries out.
