Instructions for Use:
1. Prepare with Lip Liner
Start by applying lip balm to keep lips moisturized and prevent dryness or visible lip lines; you can also use a little foundation to conceal your natural lip color and create a base for the liner.
2. Outline the Lips
- Draw a small \V\ shape at the center of the Cupid's bow, then extend the line along the natural lip contour toward the corners of the mouth.
- For the lower lip, start from the center and work outwards to both sides; the line can be drawn slightly outside the natural contour to enhance dimension.
- Aim for a thickness ratio of approximately 1:1.5 between the upper and lower lips; do not extend the liner more than 1.5mm beyond the natural contour, or the look may appear exaggerated.
3. Fill in the Color
- Fill the outlined area evenly using the lip liner or lipstick, applying small amounts at a time.
- Use a lip brush to gently blend the boundary between the liner and the lipstick to minimize color contrast and create a natural transition.
- To add dimension, apply a layer of lip gloss to the center of both the upper and lower lips to create a fuller, more rounded look.
4. Refine and Adjust
- For thin lips, draw the liner slightly outside the natural lip line before filling with lipstick to make the lips appear fuller.
- For full lips, use foundation to conceal the area around the lips before applying liner to create a more refined shape.
- Keep the tip of the pencil clean to prevent smudging or unwanted marks.
