Product Description
Yojiya's oil-absorbing paper, loved for over 100 years, began in the 1920s.
It became popular among geisha and maiko in Kyoto for its ability to absorb excess sebum without removing makeup, quickly gaining widespread recognition.
It continues to be loved even after 100 years.
Outstanding absorption and gentle feel
Convenient large capacity for everyday use
A design that blends seamlessly into daily life, compact enough not to be intrusive in your room or vanity.
The feel and size are the same as traditional oil-absorbing paper.
Yojiya's unique special washi
Yojiya has independently developed a special washi paper that can be used for applying gold leaf, specifically for oil-absorbing cosmetic paper.
By repeatedly pounding this special washi with a foil stamping machine, the paper fibers become activated, allowing it to absorb sebum.
Finishing for excellent absorption
By repeatedly pounding with the foil stamping machine, the fibers are finely loosened, increasing fiber density to the limit. This method results in exceptional absorption that can instantly absorb only sebum.
Additionally, repeated pounding smooths the surface of the paper, making it gentle on the skin.
