Electro-Harmonix introduces the new Lizard King, the successor to the octave fuzz king. Inspired by the collaboration between EHX and JHS released in 2023, the Lizard King is optimized for bass, based on the stimulating and responsive octave fuzz circuit of the Lizard Queen. With the latest tone controls and a newly added blend knob, you can maintain the fundamental tone and low end of your bass while blending in and emphasizing the high-end fuzz tone to suit any mix! The EHX Lizard King is a dynamically responsive, gain-fixed fuzz pedal. You can control the amount of fuzz by adjusting your instrument's volume. Lowering the volume results in a clean, fuzzy overdrive, while maximizing the volume produces high gain suitable for intense riffs and sharp solo tones. This model is a vintage-style octave fuzz optimized for bass, inspired by the Lizard Queen. The BLEND knob allows mixing from 100% clean to 100% fuzz. Tone control smooths the high end of the fuzz. The OCTAVE knob blends in a retro octave tone. SUN/SHADOW toggle emphasizes the tone. True bypass. Includes 9V battery (9V adapter sold separately).
