■Summing Amp

The JHS Pedals Summing Amp allows blending of two input channels into a single output. The Edge (U2) adopted this technique in the 1980s for its delay sound. By placing a quarter note delay and a dotted eighth note delay in parallel before summing, the two delays become clearer, avoiding a 'delay within delay' effect. This can also be used with overdrive pedals, where instead of boosting pedals connected in series (in a chain), they are arranged in parallel. Additionally, by placing fuzz and compressor in parallel, the signal input to the fuzz is unaffected by the compressor.

This product is an authorized dealer item in Japan. Please note that parallel imported products are not covered by the dealer warranty.
