The Hot Wax delivers a wonderful tone for both guitar and bass, combining EHX's Hot Tubes and Crayon into a powerful dual overdrive pedal. Each section can be used independently, or both can be stacked simultaneously to drive the Hot Tubes with the Crayon. The Master EQ (Treble, Bass) and Blend controls provide flexible tone shaping for power players. Hot Wax represents an evolved form of inspiring overdrive.

Features a footswitch that reduces pop noise when switching ON/OFF. Power supply: Includes JP9.6DC-200 adapter. A combination pedal that reissues the full-range overdrive and the 1970s CMOS-style Hot Tubes overdrive, along with the Hot Tubes Nano. Each section of Crayon and Hot Tubes can be used independently, or stacked together to drive the Hot Tubes with the Crayon. Produces excellent sound whether used with guitar or bass. The Blend control adjusts the mix between the dry signal (original sound) and the distortion (effect sound), especially effective when used with bass. The Bass and Treble controls in the Master EQ section enhance the tone-shaping flexibility and range.
