The SansAmp Classic has been used in countless professional studios across various music genres—from death metal to commercial jingles—for over 30 years. It has been used in tours worldwide, on numerous major releases (including Grammy-winning records), and by hundreds of thousands of players, producers, and engineers. The SansAmp Classic, discontinued in 2016, is a revival of the analog pedal invented by B. Andrew Barta in 1989, originally manufactured in the United States. It has evolved into a wide range of products including pedals and rack units, and its technology is incorporated into Tech 21's Fly Rig series.
