The GRAPHITE 1200W plunge saw is a precise device for making cuts in materials such as wood, laminate, or aluminum.
The design of the plunge saw allows for making plunge cuts anywhere in the material – without the need to start cutting from the edge, as is the case with traditional circular saws.
The device works with 165 mm diameter cutting discs and allows for operation at an adjustable speed between 2200-5200 rpm.
For increased precision when making longer formatting cuts, it is recommended to use a guide rail, which is also available from GRAPHITE.
The maximum cutting thickness without a guide bar is 57 mm, and with one it is 52 mm.
The device is equipped with a depth stop with a precise scale and indicator, allowing for easy depth adjustment both with and without a guide bar.
The plunge saw's base is equipped with a clearance adjustment system relative to the guide bar and allows for cutting angle adjustment within a range of 0-47°.
The blade guard is made of aluminum, and the entire side of the device has been profiled to minimize the gap between the blade and the outer edge of the housing.
This means that the minimum distance between the cutting line and an obstacle, e.g., a wall, is only 11.5 mm.
The device is equipped with a rotary chip ejection with the option of connecting a vacuum cleaner.
