The Pentel Orenz Nero PP3002-A is a 0.2 mm mechanical pencil equipped with Pentel’s automatic lead advance mechanism and Orenz lead-protection system.
The sliding metal sleeve follows the ultra-fine lead as it wears down, helping protect it from breakage during writing. After the initial setup, the automatic mechanism advances the lead whenever the tip is lifted from the paper.
The matte-black body features a twelve-sided profile and a low center of gravity. Its barrel incorporates a composite material combining resin and metal.

■ How to Use
The initial setup for this 0.2 mm model differs from the 0.3 mm and 0.5 mm Orenz Nero models.
Before first use, press the knock button fully several times until the graphite lead extends from the tip sleeve.
While continuing to hold the knock button down, lightly press the tip against a sheet of paper to return the exposed lead inside the sleeve.
Lift the tip away from the paper, and then release the knock button.
Begin writing with the lead protected inside the sliding sleeve.
During writing, the sleeve and lead return to the writing position whenever the tip is lifted from the paper.

Replacement lead cases, additional leads, replacement erasers, cleaning tools, pen cases, and other stationery accessories are not included.
■ Important Notes
• Do not use the 0.3 mm or 0.5 mm initial setup procedure with this 0.2 mm model. Follow the 0.2 mm instructions above.
• The sliding sleeve is designed to contact the paper during writing. Do not intentionally leave the graphite lead exposed during normal use.
• Writing feel and automatic feeding performance may vary with writing angle, pressure, paper surface, and lead condition.
• Use compatible 0.2 mm mechanical pencil lead. Pentel Ain 0.2 mm lead is available separately.
• Pentel PPE-2 is a replacement eraser for the 0.2 mm model and includes a cleaning pin. Z2-1N replacement erasers are also compatible. Both products are sold separately.
• Use the cleaning pin only to remove a blockage from the tip sleeve. Do not insert it into the internal chuck mechanism, as this may cause damage.
• Do not force or repeatedly operate the knock mechanism if the lead does not advance.
• Retract the tip sleeve before carrying or storing the pencil. Follow the manufacturer’s storage procedure to avoid damaging the sleeve or causing a lead blockage.
• The exposed metal tip is pointed. Use only as a writing instrument and keep it away from the face and eyes.
