Though installing Linux is much easier today, administering can prove to be more challenging.

Becuase Linux was developed by and for programmers, there is not much in the way of sound documentation.

The author has taken great pains to document many of the procedures and finally written this book specifically for Red Hat Linux administrators.

Beginning with the basic administrative tasks and progressing into more advanced topics, this guide will be your definitive manual to set up your network, master essential skills, and run your system with Red Hat.

The book is divided into four major parts, each covering some aspect of Linux administration.

Within each section there are several chapters.

Each chapter is devoted to a function of Linux and contains examples taken from the author's experiences or gathered from others.

The CD contains over 1300 files.
