- TAPER AND PLUG TAP PAIR - Each size includes one taper tap for initial thread cutting and one plug tap for completing full-depth threading to specification, enabling two-pass tapping for clean and accurate internal threads on through-hole and blind-hole applications.
- TWO LARGE METRIC SIZES - This set covers two large-diameter metric coarse-thread sizes: M18 x 2.5mm pitch (drill 15.5mm) and M20 x 2.5mm pitch (drill 17.5mm), addressing common requirements for machinery base mounting, structural fastening, and heavy equipment repair tasks.
- 4 STRAIGHT FLUTES DESIGN - The four-flute configuration facilitates chip evacuation during the tapping process and delivers stable thread formation across steel, cast iron, and aluminum materials in both manual and machine-driven use on large-diameter coarse-pitch threads.
- ENGRAVED SIZE MARKING - Each tap shank features clear size engraving (such as M18X2.5) for quick identification without referring to packaging, reducing selection errors when working with multiple tap sizes in the workshop.
- ALLOY TOOL STEEL CONSTRUCTION - Each tap is made from hardened alloy tool steel with H2 tolerance grade, providing durable cutting performance on steel, cast iron, aluminum alloy, and brass workpieces for machining and heavy equipment maintenance applications.
