OVO Air Jordan 10 Retro 'Black' (Unisex) Black / Black-Metallic Gold Vintage Basketball Shoes 819955 030

In 1995, coinciding with Jordan's iconic 'I'm back' return to the NBA, the Air Jordan 10 was officially launched. Upon its initial conception, the Air Jordan 10 did not involve Jordan's input in the design process and thus failed to win his favor; only after revisions was it finally released. The Air Jordan 10 marked the first use of a Phylon midsole to reduce weight, while a 3/4-length Air Sole unit provided firm cushioning. The outsole featured an engraved record of Jordan's outstanding career achievements up to that point. To generate buzz for the debut of the AJ10, released five distinct city-themed colorways. March 25, 1995, Jordan wore the Chicago-themed colorway of the Air Jordan 10 in his first game following his return—reigniting global fan attention him, and simultaneously bringing the Air Jordan 10 into the spotlight alongside the 'Airman.'
