Embroidery Book “Cross-Stitch That Makes Your Heart Flutter This French Christmas A Charming World of 250 Adorable Motifs”

Language: Japanese, 120 pages Published: September 2017

In France, when the trees shed their leaves and snow begins to fall, a gorgeous and wonderful season arrives, accompanied by a heartwarming festive atmosphere. Snow falling steadily and piling up, flames crackling in the fireplace, rings of light from the illuminations sparkling in the night sky… In French, Christmas is “Noël.” This cross-stitch pattern book features dreamlike scenes inspired by Noël, the thrill of receiving a gift, and the excitement of decorating the tree—all rendered in the traditional green and red colors of Noël. As you stitch a little each day, you’ll find yourself eagerly anticipating the season. In this book, Véronique Ange, a hugely popular French embroidery artist renowned for her nuanced use of color, brings you scenes of a French Noël through delicate stitches and color palettes. Why not use the motifs you’ve stitched to handmake seasonal essentials like Advent calendars, ornaments, and gift bags? At the end of the book, you’ll find detailed instructions exclusive to the Japanese edition.
