In summer 2022, New Balance launched its highly anticipated MADE collection of footwear and apparel. Designed by Teddy Santis—founder and creative director of the New York-based fashion and lifestyle brand Aimé Leon Dore ()—this marks his debut collection as Creative Director of New Balance’s MADE line. Santis’s designs embody New York street aesthetics and are widely acclaimed for their unwavering commitment to originality—a principle he consistently upholds in his collaboration with New Balance. For the overall design inspiration behind the MADE collection, Santis sought to highlight New Balance’s heritage and artisanal craftsmanship through material quality and color.
