Based on the Speedlite 580EX, this flagship flash has been improved to reduce recycling time (charging time) and support a wider range of uses, while also achieving dustproof and waterproof performance. It offers dustproof and waterproof capabilities comparable to EOS-1D and 1Ds series, and the reliability around the contacts has been improved by metal parts in the foot. While maintaining the same coverage angle and bounce angle as the 580EX, it features a one-touch lock function, quieter charging sound, external exposure control, and allows various settings from the camera.* to meet professional photographers' needs.
