BELT + TENSIONER SET
• Webbing/strap width: 25mm
• Lashing length: 2m
• Breaking force in straight tension (LC): 400 daN = 0.4T
• Breaking force in strapping (LC): 800 daN = 0.8T
Transport strap with tensioner for securing goods, protecting them from shifting during transport. Intended for professional or private use. Thanks to the transport belts, you can secure transported goods, bicycles, skis, vehicles on a trailer, luggage on the vehicle roof, etc.
The transport belt is equipped with a steel tensioner that ensures easy and comfortable use.
• Set: tensioner + belt
• SHF (standard hand force): 50 daN = 50kg
• STF (standard tension force): 120 daN = 120kg
• Elongation < 7%
• Made of polyester fibers
• Each set of straps has a descriptive label
• The straps comply with the European standard EN 12195-2
• The strap color is assigned to a specific size.
LC (lashing capacity) – lashing capacity, i.e. its permissible load – this is the highest force at which the strap can be used in a straight configuration (in simple tension, i.e. in a straight line). The straps offered by Metmet include three values: 400daN/400kg (for 25mm wide straps), 1000daN/1000kg (for 35mm wide straps), and 2500daN/2500kg (for 50mm wide straps).
When securing a load using the strapping method, it should be assumed that the securing capacity is doubled.
For example, a value of 1000 daN means that a given strap can be tensioned in a straight line without breaking by a force of 1000 daN (1000 kg), and in the case of strapping the load by a force of 2000 daN (2000 kg).
SHF (standard hand force) – standard / nominal hand force – this is the (maximum) force that can be applied to the manual tensioner lever to tighten the strap. Using a greater force may deform the tensioner. The standard value of this parameter is 50 daN (50 kg).
STF (standard tension force) – standard / nominal tension force – this is the force with which the load will be pressed to the ground. Pressing the load against the ground increases its friction and therefore provides better attachment.
This is the most important parameter that should influence the selection of a lifting strap.
A value of 150 daN means that the load will be pressed to the ground with a force of 150 daN (150 kg).
