Wind Speed Measuring Device
Anemometer – also called an anemometer, is a device used to measure the movement of gases. Our device is a vane anemometer, the name stems from its construction, specifically the 6-arm rotor that begins to rotate as a result of the gas flow.
The rotor's rotation is recorded by a counter, which then determines the air speed. The data collected by the device is presented on the LCD display in a user-friendly form.
The anemometer is rich in functions, making its operation convenient, and the measurement results are clear and adapted to the measurement needs.
In addition to the basic function of the device, it has the following functions:
• selecting the speed unit air(depending on the type of measurement, you can choose from: kilometers or miles/hour, feet/minute, meters/second, knots),
• speed measurement in the Beaufort Scale with a clear display of this value,
• air temperature measurement,
• selection of temperature units(Celsius, Fahrenheit)
• Windchill function,when the temperature is low, the device informs about the wind chill factor, which reduces the subjective feeling of temperature
• battery status indicator,so you know when to replace the battery batteries.
The anemometer is made of high-quality materials, is lightweight, and easy to use. The vane itself is located on the neck and is small in diameter, so it can be easily used in hard-to-reach places. The device is precise, and the measurement results are accurate – the resolution is one decimal place (depending on the selected units).
The deviation of the readings is up to +/- 5%. The device comes with a user manual in Polish and a battery.
