Distar Hard Ceramics Advanced Diamond Disc 230 X 1.6 X 10 X 25.4

A disc with a continuous diamond segment and graphite chips that create a microporous structure with lubricating properties. The addition of graphite grains reduces thermal stress and simultaneously causes the disc to self-sharpen, extending its life.

The cut edge quality is excellent thanks to the ultra-thin disc edge – just 1.3 mm (for a 200 mm diameter disc). The segment height is 10 mm in all sizes available from 115 mm to 350 mm. Thanks to its balanced body, the disc maintains a perfectly straight cutting line, and laser cutouts along the segment line eliminate vibration and provide additional cooling during operation.

Due to its properties, Hard Ceramics Advanced is classified as a disc with the highest cutting speed and the best edge quality on the workpiece, but this results come at the cost of reduced disc life.
