AMASS XT90-S Anti-Spark Connector with XT90H-M
The AMASS XT90-S is a pair of power connectors consisting of a female XT90S-F anti-spark connector and a male XT90H-M connector. The set is designed for making soldered power connections in RC models, drones, electric vehicles, and other installations using wires up to 10AWG.
The anti-spark function reduces sparking that occurs when connecting the battery to a device equipped with large-capacity capacitors. This reduces contact surface wear and improves the ease of use in installations with high inrush currents.
Who is this kit for?
• I am building a power installation in which a noticeable spark appears when connecting the battery.
• I need a complete pair of XT90 connectors for 10AWG wire.
• I am assembling or repairing an RC model, drone, electric vehicle, or workshop device.
Who is NOT this kit for?
• I need a completely waterproof connector - the XT90-S has an IP40 protection class.
• I am looking for a smaller connector for light wires and low currents - the XT30 or XT60 may be more suitable for this application.
• Female Connector XT90S-F Anti-spark reduces sparking when connecting the power supply. Maximum declared current 45A using 10AWG wire. Contacts made of gold-plated brass ensure low connection resistance.

Frequently asked questions
What is the purpose of the anti-spark function?
It reduces sparking that occurs when connecting a battery to a device with large capacitors. It helps reduce the risk of burning the main connector contacts.
What wire can be soldered to the connector?
The manufacturer specifies a 10AWG wire as a reference wire for the maximum declared current of 45A.
Is a matching male connector included in the kit?
