TESA 64284EU PV10 is a medium-duty MOPP strapping tape designed for quick and secure fastening and securing of components in logistics and production. In the 66 m x 19 mm variant, it is suitable for applications where high tensile strength, low elongation, and easy unwinding are important.
The tape "grips" well on both polar and non-polar surfaces, making it a universal choice for many applications.
Advantages and unique features
• Solvent-free adhesive - comfortable work and no "wet" adhesive film
• Low elongation (35%) - stable wrapping and predictable behavior under load
• High tensile strength (300 N/cm) - reliable securing of loads and elements
• Easy unwinding - for manual and automatic dispensers
• Removal without traces and without discoloration - helpful in service and assembly work
• Good workability - quick application in the process
Properties and applications
• MOPP carrier: increased tensile strength with controlled elongation – for strapping and bundling.
• Initial adhesion to many surfaces: useful for securing components on production lines and in warehouses.
• Securing components: stable attachment of components in devices.
• Securing peripheral devices: temporary fixing during transport and storage.
• Removal without leaving any traces: service work, temporary protection, technical markings (where a clean surface after disassembly is important).

1) What is MOPP strapping tape used for?
For strapping, bundling and securing items and loads - especially where you need high tensile strength and controlled elongation.
2) Is the tape suitable for manual and automatic dispensers?
Yes - the tape has been described as easy to unwind and is designed to work in both manual and automatic dispensers.
3) Does the tape leave any adhesive residue or discoloration after removal?
The tape is recommended for applications where removal without leaving any residue or discoloration from various surfaces is important.
4) Is the tape suitable for applications where removal without leaving any residue or discoloration from various surfaces is important. Does the tape have an adhesive with solvents?
The product data sheet indicates that the adhesive is solvent-free, and the SDS states only traces of residual solvents (< 0.1% by weight).
