TESA TESAFLEX 4169 PV3 black and yellow PVC floor marking tape – 187 µm UV, water and abrasion resistant
TESA | TESAFLEX 4169 PV3 floor marking tape | 187 µm | black and yellow is a strong PVC tape designed for permanent floor marking and zone designation. It is suitable for applications where markings must be legible and durable over time: in traffic zones, passages, and when dividing workspaces.
The flexible, plasticized PVC carrier allows for application on curves without wrinkling, and the tape remains flexible even at very low temperatures down to -40°C.
The tape is recommended for permanent floor marking in various environments, such as factories, warehouses, offices, and hospitals.
• marking traffic lanes, passages, and zone boundaries
• marking parking spaces and common areas
• organization of workspace in halls and warehouses (storage areas, safety zones)
• applications on uneven and rough surfaces (rating: good)
Why Is it worth it?
Durability and legibility are key when it comes to floor markings. Soft PVC tape is waterproof, UV-resistant, and weather-resistant. The strong PVC carrier increases resistance to chemicals and abrasion, which is important in places with high mechanical load.
• UV, weather and water resistance – markings remain legible for longer ✅
• Chemical and abrasion resistance – better durability in intensive use
• Flexibility up to -40°C – easier application even in cold conditions
• Good adhesion on uneven surfaces – less risk of edge curling
Additionally, the manufacturer indicates that the basic universal colors of the PV3 variant are compatible with the RAL system.

How to apply floor marking tape so that it does not peel off at the edges?
The surface should be clean and dry. Apply the tape evenly, then press it along its entire length – especially the ends and corners. Avoid air bridges on uneven surfaces.
Is TESAFLEX 4169 PV3 suitable for rough and uneven surfaces?
The manufacturer rates its suitability for rough surfaces as good. For porous or dusty surfaces, it is worth testing it on a short section before using it on a larger surface.
Is the tape resistant to water, UV, and weather conditions?
Yes. The manufacturer indicates water resistance, UV resistance, and weather resistance, which supports the durability of the markings.
What does the information about PV3 color compatibility with RAL mean?
The manufacturer states that the basic universal colors of the PV3 variant are compatible with the RAL system, which facilitates consistent marking of zones in the plant.
