The KRX expansion plug consists of a polypropylene sleeve and a steel screw with a countersunk head covered with a protective zinc layer.

It is intended for installation of lightweight interior finishing elements, wooden elements, lightweight installation elements, and mounting brackets in solid building substrates.

The inner part of the plug has guide strips along its entire length, which ensure reliable screw guidance during installation.

1. Before installation, identify the substrate in which the plug will be installed and compare the loads that the plug will carry with the load-bearing capacities specified in the Safety Data Sheet or in the National Assessment of Technical.

2. The appropriate length of the plug should be selected so that the expansion zone is located in the wall construction material (the thickness of the fastened element corresponds to the maximum usable length of the plug - tfix).

3. The appropriate drilling method should be used depending on the type of substrate (holes in aerated concrete masonry should be drilled with a drill without impact).

4. The diameter of the drilled holes should be consistent with the diameter of the plugs used.

5. Holes in substrates made of solid materials should be min. 10mm from the anchorage depth of the plug.

6. Holes in solid materials should be cleaned of drill cuttings using a reciprocating drilling motion at reduced speed.

7. The plug is inserted into the drilled hole, and the screw is driven through the fastener until it is fully embedded in the sleeve (pre-assembly).
