Directions for Use: Directions for Preparing and Using Castor Oil Pack: Fold a piece of wool flannel large enough to cover the body area involved. Pour castor oil into the flannel until it is saturated but not dripping. Apply the saturated fabric to the desired body area. Cover the saturated flannel fabric with a piece of plastic sheet (regular kitchen plastic wrap works well). The heating pad can now be placed on top of the plastic. Start with a medium setting on a heating pad and work your way up to high heat for 30-60 minutes, whether you feel comfortable or not. The skin can be cleansed afterwards using a solution made of two tablespoons of baking soda dissolved in a quart of water. Store the Nehru pack in a plastic bag or container in the refrigerator for future use. For future use, you will need to take the saturated pack again and add a small amount of castor oil. Use about 20 or discard after 2 months. For maximum effect, use home health castor oil, the best cold pressed, cold processed and hexane free oil.
