Makoto Yamaguchi
Born in Tokyo in 1944. After serving as a secretary for the Japan Origami Association, he is now active as an origami artist. In 1989, he opened the origami gallery "Origami House."
He uses this space to foster young artists and actively interact with origami organizations and artists overseas. He is Secretary General of the Japan Origami Society, a permanent member of Origami USA, a member of the British Origami Society, and an honorary member of the Korea Origami Association. He is also Editor-in-Chief of the Japan Origami Society's journal, "Origami Detectives Magazine." Her books include "Elegant Origami," "Beautiful Origami," and "Elegant Origami" (Natsume Publishing), "Chibi Maruko-chan's Origami Class" (Shufunotomosha), "Origami Dragons Premium" (Soshim), "Flower Origami to Enjoy All Year Round" (Nihon Vogue), "The Definitive Origami Encyclopedia Explained with Photos," and "The Ultimate Origami for the New Generation" (Seitosha), totaling 150 books.
