Enjoy an exciting game with Quidditch Pinball, the latest model in the Ugears Harry Potter collection. This pinball game is based on the fictional magical game of Quidditch, featured in the Harry Potter books and films. Players fly around an aerial arena, throwing and hitting Quaffles to send them through three rings on the opponent's field, earning 10 points each time. The team that catches the Golden Snitch scores 150 points and wins the game. The DIY Ugears Quidditch Pinball model is a visually stunning stadium featuring a cardboard playing field printed with decorative elements, eight platforms engraved with the logos of the four Hogwarts houses (Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Citrine), a functional scoreboard, a chest to store the Golden Snitch and three Quaffle balls, and functional pinball game elements such as flippers, bumpers, targets, and obstacles. To prepare for Ugears Quidditch Pinball play, first ensure the model is properly assembled and all moving parts are in place.
Verify it works: Place the model on a flat surface, remove the yellow ball (Snitch) from the chest, and place it in the reserved spot on the left rail. Insert the three red balls (Quaffles) into the holes on the front left of the model. Press the two bumpers and launch light just behind the targets to raise the three targets in the center of the field. Twist the dial on the back of the scoreboard to line up three zeros and you're ready to play! To play, press the "New Game" sign on the front of the model and send the three Quaffles toward the trigger. Press down on the ball lift lever on the front right to raise the first Quaffle to the ready position, then pull back on the side trigger and release sharply to launch the balls into the playing field. Place your hands on the flipper buttons on the left and right of the model and press them to keep each ball in play for as long as possible. Knock down the three targets to create a path to the ring, guarded by the Keeper (Ron Weasley) and Beaters (the Weasley twins, Fred and George). Each time the Quaffle passes through a hoop on the other side of the field, you get 10 points (as shown on the scoreboard).
(You can tally up your points by pressing the button on the top right of the screen), and the Quaffles will return to play. Protect your three rings by not letting the Quaffles pass through your flippers. The game ends when all three Quaffles have passed through your rings.
