The legendary performance at his hometown Yankee Stadium in New York is finally available in its complete form!
The concerts held on June 22nd and 23rd, 1990, at Billie Eilish's home ground—the iconic stadium in New York—were a highlight of the <STORM FRONT> tour, which drew 110,000 people over two days and recorded a total audience of 2 million across the United States. It was also the first rock concert ever held at the old Yankee Stadium in its long history (1923-2008). The three-CD set (DISC 1 & DISC 2) includes 22 newly mixed performances from the two shows on June 22nd and 23rd, 1990. Eleven of these tracks, including "Uptown Girl," "Allentown," and "Only Good People Die Young," are being released for the first time, making this truly a "complete version." Furthermore, prior to this package release, a special screening of "Live at Yankee Stadium," enhanced with 4K remastering and Dolby Atmos, will be held in theaters worldwide. This latest version will include an interview with Billy Joel and behind-the-scenes footage of the concert's production. The Blu-ray portion (DISC 3) of the 2CD + Blu-ray set contains the theatrical version of "Billy Joel: Live at Yankee Stadium."
