Nozzle orifice range for different types of sprayed material:Pigments: 0.009″Stains, Varnishes, Oils: 0.009″ – 0.011″Primer: 0.013″Urethanes, Epoxies: 0.013″ – 0.015″Enamels, Emulsions: 0.015″Acrylics: 0.015″ – 0.019″Latex: 0.017″ – 0.019″Exterior and facade paints: 0.021″ – 0.029″Waterproofing agents: 0.023″ – 0.031″Multicolor paints for construction: 0.023″ – 0.031″Fireproofing: 0.029″ – 0.035″Elastomers: 0.025″ – 0.033″Plaster, plaster: 0.027″ – 0.035″Bituminous masses: 0.055" – 0.065" Choosing the right nozzle is child's play with us! Here are a few steps to help you decide:1⃣ First digit (A)representsnozzle fan width, we'll label it "A." Multiplying the first digit "A" x 5 cm gives you the fan width you want when holding the gun 30 cm from the surface. So mathematically, this can be written as:Stream width = A x 5 cmExample: If the first digit "A" is 5, then the stream width is: Stream width = 5 x 5 cm = 25 cmThis means that holding the gun 30 cm from the surface will produce a stream width of 25 cm.
2⃣ The last two digits (B) -indicate the nozzle orifice size and paint density. The higher the number, the thicker the paint. For example, "517" is a nozzle with a spray width of 25 cm and a nozzle orifice diameter of 0.017 inch.
