The top notes are anise, licorice, wormwood, and ivy; the heart notes are sugar, rum, almond, violet, woody notes, rose water, and orange blossom; the base notes are vanilla, musk, cedar, and labdanum. LOLITA LEMPICKA Lolita Lempicka, the pseudonym of French designer Josiane Maryse Pivida who also founded the company, entered the world of perfumery in 1983. The name was inspired by the protagonist of Vladimir Nabokov’s novel, Lolita, and as a tribute to the Polish painter Tamara De Lempicka. The perfumes are renowned for their elegant bottles and the joyful character of their scents. The House’s first fragrance, launched in 1997, was Lolita Lempicka for women, now known as Lolita Lempicka Le Premier Parfum. The fragrances are created in collaboration with perfumers Maurice Roucel, Annick Menardo, Christine Nagel, Benoist Lapouza, and Anne Flipo.
