A multifunctional space effector is realized in an MXR standard compact housing
The MXR M307 LAYERS is a new level of effector that creates a sound space that has never been experienced before.
The input guitar and bass sounds are superimposed on 3 layers (layers) to create a fantastic, deep, and ambient sound.
A variety of expressive power, which was considered impossible with conventional pedal effects, has been packed into the MXR pedal size. It offers an unknown experience that stimulates musicians' creativity.
Sounds can be superimposed on up to 3 layers (layers) to freely produce everything from natural expressions to grand, deep sounds.
The 3 LEDs on the top of the main unit indicate that each layer is active. The layered sounds overlap with each other, making it possible to express as if it were a wall of sound and to construct chords that are impossible with normal performances. By turning on the SINGLE switch, the layer operates independently, and free expression is possible, such as continuing to play a chord or single note and then performing a solo on top of it.
You can add layers by using a foot switch or by using a TRIG knob.
In the footswitch method, the sound while the switch is being pressed is added to a new layer, and the sound can be superimposed as if it were a live performance. Alternatively, you can set the input sensitivity with the TRIG knob and automatically add the sound you play to the layer. By combining these two methods, up to 3 layers can be layered, creating complex layers of sound.
