The Player II series combines Fender's heritage and evolution, and offers iconic sound and style with Fender's DNA. It has the highly versatile specifications required for live stage and studio work for any modern player, and has modern updates to inspire players to perform. Furthermore, this series has a product lineup that satisfies even players who are serious about music, and these have been realized at an affordable price.
While the Player II Telecaster® HH radiates the appeal of a timeless fender, its contents are designed for modern players. The modern “C” shaped neck back has a silky satin urethane finish, and a 9.5-inch radius slab rosewood or maple fingerboard with carefully rolled off fingerboard edges and 22 medium jumbo frets provide comfortable playability throughout the neck length.
Adopting an alder body, which is a classic tonewood, Player II Telecaster® HH is available in a wide range of color options, including traditional fender finishes or new finishes discovered from fender color archives and first adopted in this series. From the Player Series Alnico II humbucker, you'll get a high end with high clarity, a strong midrange, and a thick, tight low end. The 3-way blade switch enables a variety of sound designs. The 6-vent steel saddle hardtail bridge and the ClassicGear™ tuning machine ensure tuning stability, and the flexibility to pursue limitless sound possibilities.
Player II series products have the look, tone, and feel unique to Fender, and are organized with specifications perfect for creating your own unique sound.
