・These forged pegs are made by heating round steel material to approximately 1100°C until it is red-hot, then rapidly crushing the cross-section into an elliptical shape with a force of about 1 ton. Applying strong pressure to the heated steel results in pegs with superior strength. ・Ordinary round pegs tend to spin in the ground, making them difficult to use, but the elliptical pegs provide excellent penetration even in hard ground mixed with gravel and stones. They grip firmly without spinning. ・The direction of the rope pull is designed with a thicker material for superior strength and resistance. The areas where the rope makes contact are trimmed to prevent fraying and rope breakage, with meticulous attention to detail. ・The overall length of 280mm makes these pegs easy to handle in any situation. ・They are finished with copper plating for improved corrosion resistance, and clear coating for a transparent shine.
