■Sweet Honey Overdrive FAC

Designed by BJF, the Sweet Honey Overdrive (SHOD) is a low-gain overdrive pedal that responds sensitively to finger touch.

It is designed to further drive a distorted amplifier or to achieve a light overdrive that allows you to control dynamics with a clean sound.

The level of distortion can be controlled by picking attack and pickup volume. Use a stronger pick attack for overdrive, or a softer pick for a clean tone. The unique FACUS control allows you to adjust the feel and dynamics of the distortion, as well as the overall EQ. Turning this control fully counterclockwise produces a mellow tone with minimal distortion, suitable for jazz and blues, while turning it fully clockwise results in a bright distortion with a slight high-frequency boost.

Previously, the only similar overdrive was the BJF Honey Bee, but now it is released as a Mad Professor version. The Mad Professor SHOD offers a tighter sound and is designed to perform well with various guitars and amplifiers, making it more versatile.
