Prestige was created to replace the discontinued Mr. Magic pedal. It proves to be an essential and versatile piece of gear, from buffers to boosts and tone enhancers, suitable for any combination of equipment. When the boost knob is set to zero, it functions as a buffer/enhancer tool that easily prevents tone deterioration caused by long cable runs. Setting the boost knob to 25% not only provides different tonal nuances as a buffer/enhancer but also slightly increases the volume. Adjusting the boost knob between 25% and 50% results in a clear, bright sound with a powerful and dynamic solo tone. When set above 50%, Prestige can break up the tube amp's preamp, creating smooth and natural tube overdrive. Turning the volume range up to the last 25% further increases the input to the preamp, resulting in rich sustain, breakup, and, depending on the amplifier, a smooth, warm fuzzy sound. Prestige can boost up to +27dB.
