During World War II, the German military used the 6-wheeled truck Krupp L2H143 for various purposes. Among them, the type used for towing artillery such as the 3.7cm anti-tank gun is the Kfz.69 Light Gun Towing Krupp Protze.
Equipped with a 60-horsepower air-cooled horizontally opposed 4-cylinder gasoline engine, a 4-speed forward and 1-speed reverse transmission, and independent suspension, it can reach a top speed of 70 km/h.
It has a capacity of 6 personnel, with ammunition storage compartments on both sides of the rear of the vehicle body.
The Krupp Protze, standardly equipped with anti-tank artillery battalions in each division, was widely used in the early stages of the war on various fronts including the Poland campaign, France, the Balkans, and the Russian front.
The 3.7cm Anti-Tank Gun Pak35/36 was a representative German anti-tank gun in the early war period, with a penetration capability of 51mm at a range of 500m using AP40 armor-piercing shells.
