・【Smartphone Holder Sun Visor】 [Kaedia] users gathered on Twitter requesting a dedicated sunshade for smartphone holders, citing issues with phones overheating and becoming unusable due to temperature protection in summer, difficulty charging due to battery control, and inability to operate touchscreens in the rain. Responding to this demand, [Kaedia] developed this sunshade with user feedback gathered directly on Twitter. The visor features an adjustable up-and-down structure, an extendable brim, a heat-shielding aluminum shroud, and ventilation to enhance heat dissipation – all reflecting user preferences.
・【Sun and Rain Protection】 During summer touring, smartphone temperature protection can activate due to heat from sunlight and maximum screen brightness, rendering the phone unusable. This sunshade creates shade and lowering screen brightness reduces smartphone temperature rise. In rainy conditions, raindrops on the screen can prevent operation or cause malfunctions. The visor shields the phone from rain, maintaining operability. Please note: ⑴ This is the minimum size required for effectiveness. The visor may be larger than expected and obstruct the meter. ⑵ Increased weight may cause vibration or breakage depending on the strength of the clamp bar. Compatible models: KDR-H3/KDR-H4W/KDR-HB1/KDR-HB2/KDR-HB2L/KDR-HB3/KDR-HB4. Incompatible: KDR-H3-2 (prone to vibration)/KDR-H4-2 (overweight)/KDR-H4-3 (overweight)/KDR-H4S (overweight). ⑶ Additional mounting parts may be required.
・【KDR-V1/Coaxial Type】 This product uses the included 17mm ball mount without threads and secures it to a rail with threads using a long bolt. Its integrated structure provides a clean look on the holder’s back. Please note: ⑴ Vertical adjustment only is possible, so the clamp bar must be horizontal relative to the desired holder orientation. It cannot be installed if the clamp bar is angled and the holder is adjusted to face forward using a ball joint. ⑵ Sufficient space for the visor dimensions must be available behind the holder. Check in advance for interference from screens or other obstacles. ⑶ It is only compatible with [Kaedia] smartphone holders with a 17mm ball type. Compatible models: KDR-M6/KDR-M6S/KDR-M6S-1/KDR-M7/KDR-M8S/KDR-M8SP/KDR-M9S/KDR-M11A/KDR-M11C/KDR-M12/KDR-M13/KDR-M14C/KDR-M14A/KDR-M18A/KDR-M18C
・【KDR-V1-M/Separate Type】 This separate mounting structure mounts independently next to the holder. It uses the included 1-inch ball bar mount and the visor’s 1-inch ball, secured with an intermediate mount. Its full-range adjustability provides versatility for various clamp conditions and environments, and it can be mounted on [Kaedia] smartphone holders and others. Reference compatible models: Compatible with all models.
